About The Position

Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges in living with dignity, independence, and confidence. The role involves hands-on assistance with personal care and daily living skills, following individualized care plans, administering medication according to policy, and fostering a safe, supportive environment. DSPs also encourage community engagement and use approved behavior support techniques. Some roles require travel and providing support between residential and day programs. The listed schedule is Sunday, Monday, and Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pay is $18 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds or more.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Meet one of the following driving record requirements: at least three years of unsuspended driving history with no more than three points, or at least two years of unsuspended driving history with a clean driving record.

• Experience in disability services is preferred but not required; training is provided.
