About The Position
The R.I.S.E. Day Program Direct Support Professional assists people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in participating in meaningful activities in the community and at Willows Way. The DSP explores each individual's interests and matches them with fun and fulfilling activities. The position has a PRN schedule and pays $21.50 per hour. Pay is weekly, and mileage is reimbursed at $0.76 per mile.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation for use on the job.
- Must have a Class E driver's license and be able to drive large vans.
- Ability to pass all background checks.
- Ability to physically assist individuals using wheelchairs with mobility and hygiene tasks.
- Demonstrate reliability, kindness, compassion, patience, and respect.
- Have excellent communication skills.
