About The Position

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for its program in Marlton, New Jersey. The position supports individuals with daily living and personal activities and helps them build independence. DSPs encourage, mentor, and coach individuals as they work toward their goals, including learning housekeeping and laundry. Work is performed according to appropriate procedures under the supervision of the House Manager, who reviews work through observation, inspection, reports, and periodic meetings. No experience is required, and paid training is provided. The stated pay rate is $20.13 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must have a verifiable high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer candidates to have their own transportation.
• Experience in a home health aide setting or school setting working with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
