About The Position

Merakey is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for its program in Marlton, New Jersey. The role supports individuals with daily living and personal activities to enhance their independence. DSPs encourage, mentor, and coach individuals toward their goals and teach practical skills such as housekeeping and laundry. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. Work is performed according to appropriate procedures under the supervision of the House Manager, who reviews work through observation, inspections, reports, and periodic meetings.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must have a verifiable high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a home health aide setting or a school setting working with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Having personal transportation is preferred.
