Direct Support Professional - PRN
About The Position
Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for its program in Antioch, California. DSPs support individuals with developmental disabilities in settings that may include community locations, family or individual homes, generic community settings, and Adult Training Facilities. The role includes providing direct care and implementing behavior plans. DSPs help enhance each individual’s health, safety, dignity, and contentment by assisting and training them in personal care, communication, and social skill development. The position is PRN, and the listed pay is $26.00–$28.00 per hour, with a rate increase after obtaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a verifiable high school diploma or GED.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have at least six months of experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, with a focus on behavioral services.
- Must complete DSP 1 and DSP 2 certifications within one year of hire.
- Must complete Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within one year of hire.

- Dual diagnosis experience preferred.
