Direct Support Professional - Part Time
About The Position
Clarvida is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate, hands-on care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential programs across Pennsylvania. The role supports individuals in living more independently and thriving in their communities. Work takes place in a residential program or intermediate care facility in Pennsylvania. Clarvida describes itself as a provider of behavioral health services that delivers integrated, person-centered care and partners with families and local systems to provide outcome-driven mental health services. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in direct care or behavioral health services.
- Familiarity with intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) populations and residential care settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and supervision in a residential setting.
- Support individuals in achieving independence with daily tasks and routines.
- Encourage participation in social and community activities.
- Monitor individuals’ health, safety, and well-being.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations and agency policies.
- Assist with training and onboarding new team members.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and report concerns to the Program Specialist.
