About The Position

I Am Boundless is a nonprofit organization that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and has served Ohio for over 40 years. The organization’s mission is to build a world that realizes the boundless potential of all people. The Residential Specialist provides direct programming and/or dietary, laundry, toileting, housekeeping, or other support to people with I/DD. The listed schedule alternates weekly: Week 1 includes 3 p.m.–11 p.m. Monday and Saturday, and 7 a.m.–3 p.m. Wednesday; Week 2 includes 3 p.m.–11 p.m. Sunday and Friday, and 7 a.m.–3 p.m. Wednesday.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
Selected candidates must complete a background check, drug screen, and health screen, as applicable to the role.

Provide direct programming and/or dietary, laundry, toileting, housekeeping, or other support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
