About The Position

Sevita is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional to help people grow, learn, and live well. The role involves building meaningful relationships with the individuals served, supporting their participation in the community and preferred activities, and helping them work toward developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The position also includes assisting with personal hygiene and supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs.

The schedule is 15 hours per week: Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., plus every other Saturday during those hours. The stated pay is $17.30 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Skills in communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time management.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
