About The Position

PALS is seeking an experienced, energetic, strong, and dedicated Direct Support Professional to support adults with developmental disabilities at its Heath Day Program in Heath, Ohio. The role involves supervising and supporting individuals, assisting with daily living activities, providing safe transportation, and accurately documenting care and services. DSPs also serve as friends and mentors, planning, encouraging, and carrying out social and occupational activities.

Requirements

• Successfully pass a DOT physical.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Ohio driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Acceptable criminal background verification.
• Willingness to provide fun yet responsible supervision and assistance to adults with developmental disabilities.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
• Maintain current and annual training requirements.

Responsibilities
