About The Position

PALS is seeking experienced, energetic, strong, and dedicated staff to provide daily services to adults with developmental disabilities. Direct Support Professionals provide supervision and support, assist with activities of daily living, provide safe transportation, and accurately document care and services. The role also involves serving as a friend and mentor and planning, encouraging, and carrying out social and occupational activities. PALS describes the work as an opportunity to provide a fun and satisfying experience for the individuals served.

Requirements

• Must successfully pass a DOT physical.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Ohio driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Acceptable criminal background verification.
• Willingness to provide fun yet responsible supervision and assistance to adults with developmental disabilities.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
• Maintain current and annual training requirements.

Responsibilities
