Direct Support Professional (DSP) - 2nd Shift Full Time
About The Position
Bancroft is hiring a Direct Support Professional for its Adult Residential department in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. The role provides quality, empathetic care to adults with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities. The scheduled shifts are Sunday 11 a.m.–11 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday 2 p.m.–11 p.m. The position is full-time and pays $19.06–$19.44 per hour. Direct Support Professionals help residents develop daily living skills and independence through personalized care plans, plan events and outings, and communicate with residents, families, and guardians. The role involves working as part of a supportive, accountable team. Work can be physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging, and each hour may bring different activities. Weekend availability is required.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
- Be willing and able to work weekends.
- Have a current driver's license in good standing.
