About The Position

Bancroft is hiring Direct Support Professionals for its Adult Residential department in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The role provides care and support to adults with autism and intellectual or developmental disabilities. The hourly rate is $19.06–$19.44. The full-time schedule is Sunday 11 a.m.–11 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday 2 p.m.–11 p.m.

Direct Support Professionals help residents build daily-living skills, support independence through personalized care plans, and plan community events and outings. They work collaboratively with a supportive team and communicate with residents, families, and guardians. The work can be physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging, and weekend availability is required.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Have the ability and willingness to work weekends.
• Have a current driver’s license in good standing.

• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
