Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Overnight Full Time
About The Position
Bancroft is hiring a full-time Direct Support Professional for its Adult Residential department in Mt Ephraim, New Jersey. The role supports adults with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities by providing quality care in a positive and empathetic manner. The scheduled hours are Thursday from 11 p.m. to 9 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. The hourly rate is $19.06–$19.44. The position focuses on helping residents develop daily living skills and independence through personalized care plans, while fostering community through events and outings. Direct Support Professionals collaborate with teammates and communicate with residents, families, and guardians. The work can be physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging, and requires weekend availability. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
- Ability and willingness to work weekends.
- Current driver’s license in good standing.
- Strong desire to work with autistic individuals and/or people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Provide quality care in a positive and empathetic manner.
