About The Position

Bancroft is hiring a Direct Support Professional for its Flicker Residential department in Voorhees, New Jersey. The role provides quality, empathetic care to adults with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities. Direct Support Professionals help residents build daily living skills, encourage independence through personalized care plans, plan community events and outings, and communicate with residents, families, and guardians. The position is full-time, with a schedule of Sunday 10 a.m.–11 p.m., Monday and Tuesday 2 p.m.–11 p.m., and Wednesday 12 p.m.–3 p.m. The hourly rate is $19.06–$19.44.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Be able and willing to work weekends.
• Have a current driver’s license in good standing.
• Have a strong desire to work with autistic and/or intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
