About The Position

Easter Seals of Tennessee is seeking compassionate, hardworking Direct Support Professionals to support people with disabilities as they learn, work, and participate in their communities. Based in a home where individuals receive support, DSPs provide caregiver assistance with daily activities and may accompany individuals into the community. They also work in partnership with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans. Previous experience is not required; training is provided.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have valid automobile insurance.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
• Accompany individuals in the community to facilitate community involvement.
• Support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff.

• Tenure pay scale
• Annual performance bonus
• $1 shift premium for Saturday and Sunday shifts from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
