About The Position

Sevita is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional to help people grow, learn, and live well. The role involves building meaningful relationships with the people served, supporting their participation in community activities, and helping them work toward developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. You will also assist with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Help participants take part in the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals, including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist individuals with personal hygiene.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
