About The Position

BAYADA is hiring part-time Direct Support Professionals in Ruffin and Reidsville, North Carolina. The role provides one-on-one support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them build confidence, increase independence, and achieve personal goals. DSPs encourage participation in community life, provide companionship and personal care, and help clients get to appointments and activities. The position offers flexible schedules, with weekday and weekend availability, and pays $15.00–$16.00 per hour with weekly pay.

Requirements

• One or more years of experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities; training may be available through an apprentice program for applicants without this experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events.
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship.
