This is a meaningful overnight (NOC) position where you will provide dependable, person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your role will involve creating a safe and comfortable environment, supporting overnight routines, monitoring individual needs, completing documentation, and preparing the home for the next day. This is an awake position requiring you to remain alert and attentive throughout the entire scheduled shift. Responsibilities include providing personal care, health, mobility, or behavioral support, completing overnight monitoring and safety checks, following various care plans and routines, administering medications (after training), accurately documenting care, responding to concerns, completing household tasks, preparing for morning transitions, and communicating with the incoming team. The role requires dependability, comfort with overnight hours, the ability to remain awake and engaged, attention to detail for reporting concerns, adherence to care plans and safety protocols, comfort with hands-on support, and a commitment to dignity, respect, confidentiality, and person-centered care. While some nights may be calm, others may require immediate action, patience, and sound judgment. The position demands responsibility, including staying awake, completing tasks, accurate documentation, and readiness to respond to needs.
