This position involves providing direct support and assistance to individuals in accordance with their service or program plans. The role focuses on aiding with socialization, behavioral development, personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community orientation, shopping, financial management, citizenship, and other activities of daily living. The trainer is responsible for accurately documenting progress, maintaining confidentiality, and completing billing documentation. They will also assist with money management, maintain professional relationships with individuals and their support networks, and report any instances of alleged abuse or neglect. Health care responsibilities include accompanying individuals to appointments, administering medications if assigned, monitoring health, and ensuring the correct use of medical equipment. Maintenance duties involve transporting individuals, performing housekeeping, making minor repairs, and ensuring safety in the environment. The role may require the use of a personal cell phone for business purposes, with a stipend provided.
