This position involves providing direct support and assistance to adults in accordance with their individual service or program plans. The role focuses on aiding with socialization, behavioral development, personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community orientation, shopping, financial management, citizenship, and other activities of daily living. The trainer is responsible for accurate documentation of progress and activities, maintaining confidentiality, and completing billing documentation. They will also assist with money management, maintain professional relationships with individuals and their support networks, and report any instances of alleged abuse or neglect. Additionally, the role may involve accompanying individuals to medical appointments, administering medications if assigned, monitoring general health, and ensuring the proper use of medical equipment. Housekeeping, vehicle maintenance, and minor repairs are also part of the responsibilities. Employees may use personal cell phones for business purposes and will receive a stipend.
