Adult Program Direct Support Coach
About The Position
CAPS Collaborative is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Direct Support Coach for its Momentum team. The new program is contracted through the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and supports adults with intellectual disabilities. The Direct Support Coach provides individualized coaching to help Momentum members pursue personal goals, develop independence, and build meaningful community connections. The role facilitates structured, supervised activities that promote meaningful and purposeful engagement based on individuals’ preferences and needs. It also supports vocational skill-building at the facility and at community-based job sites while promoting dignity and inclusion. The position is full-time, with a schedule of 7 hours per day. The coach must be willing to drive members to scheduled activities, volunteer sites, and jobs in a CAPS Collaborative van.
Requirements
- Compassionate, motivated, and dependable.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to drive members in a CAPS Collaborative van.
- Ability to obtain or maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
- Ability to obtain or maintain MAP certification.
