About The Position

CAPS Collaborative is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Direct Support Coach to join its Momentum team. The new program is contracted through the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and supports adults with intellectual disabilities. The Coach provides support that empowers members to pursue personal goals, develop greater independence, and build meaningful connections within their communities. The role involves facilitating structured, supervised activities based on members’ individual preferences and needs, and supporting vocational skill-building at the facility and community-based job sites while promoting dignity and inclusion. The position is full-time and is 7 hours per day.

Requirements

• Demonstrate compassion, motivation, and dependability.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be willing to drive members to scheduled activities, volunteer sites, and jobs in a CAPS Collaborative van.
• Be able to obtain or maintain CPR/First Aid and MAP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coach Momentum members in pursuing personal goals and developing greater independence.

• Support vocational skill-building at the facility and at community-based job sites.
