About The Position

The Direct Sales Agent Specialist drives profitable growth by generating new business, cross-selling to existing customers, and building lasting customer relationships. The role involves understanding customer needs, providing tailored insurance solutions, and maintaining a strong book of business. The agent sells to local customers in person and by phone, and supports growth through community involvement, relationship building, and outside marketing efforts. Compensation includes a base hourly rate plus potential incentive pay, such as commissions and bonuses, based on individual and team performance.

Requirements

0–2 years of experience.
P&C licensing is preferred; otherwise, required licensure must be attained within 90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-selling, and customer retention.
Build and maintain a consistent sales pipeline through local lead generation and referrals.
Develop community relationships, including with dealerships, at events, and with local partners, to support business growth.
Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
Partner with leadership on sales and local marketing initiatives.
Stay informed about products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
Deliver results in accordance with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations.
