About The Position

The Direct Sales Agent Specialist drives profitable growth by generating new business, cross-selling to existing customers, and building lasting customer relationships. The role involves understanding customer needs, delivering tailored insurance solutions, and maintaining a strong book of business. The agent sells to local customers in person and over the phone, while supporting growth through community involvement, relationship building, and outside marketing efforts. The role offers a base hourly rate plus uncapped monthly incentives. Total compensation may include commissions and bonuses based on individual and team performance.

Requirements

0–2 years of experience.
Must obtain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company if not already licensed.
Skills in active learning, adaptability, business integrity, customer service, persuasion, sales, social orientation, and time management.

Responsibilities

Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-selling, and customer retention.
Build and maintain a consistent pipeline through local lead generation and referrals.
Develop community relationships with dealerships, event organizers, and local partners to support business growth.

Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives.
Stay informed about products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
