About The Position

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a Direct Marketing Manager to lead and develop its Direct Marketing organization. This role is responsible for building high-performing teams, connecting with communities, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate is an energetic, results-driven leader who can coach, motivate, hold teams accountable, and turn ambitious goals into action in a fast-paced environment. The Direct Marketing Manager will oversee Direct Marketing Agents, Team Leads, and Supervisors, ensuring the team consistently delivers against sales, lead generation, profitability, and operational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of equivalent supervisory/leadership experience
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop teams
  • Strong communication, active listening, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to analyze challenges and translate business goals into action
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform in a deadline-driven, results-oriented environment
  • Strong customer-service mindset
  • Ability to manage budgets and work within financial constraints
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record according to company standards
  • Willingness and ability to work in the field and travel frequently

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Direct Marketing team members.
  • Build a culture centered around performance, accountability, trust, and respect.
  • Partner in hiring, promotions, performance management, and other key people decisions.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews to help team members grow and succeed.
  • Develop future leaders and create a strong bench of talent.
  • Lead the Direct Marketing team toward sales, lead generation, and profitability goals.
  • Translate company objectives into clear, actionable plans for your team.
  • Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve results.
  • Hold leaders and team members accountable to expectations while providing the coaching and support needed to succeed.
  • Manage department expenses responsibly and within budget.
  • Develop marketing tactics and execution plans designed to generate a strong return on investment.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activity.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen Direct Marketing performance and expand our impact.
  • Partner with leadership and HR to support team member needs and department initiatives.
  • Continuously ask: “How can we do this better?”
