About The Position

365 Health Services is seeking a Direct Care Worker to provide physical care and emotional support to clients who may be unable to care for themselves because of illness, injury, surgery, or disability. The role calls for caring for clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect, while remaining empathetic and encouraging.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• Must be able to complete a criminal background report.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for sometimes long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide light housekeeping and run errands or transportation as needed.
• Accompany clients to appointments and assist with medications.
• Prepare meals, purchase food, and assist with general living needs.
• Provide personal assistance, including toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming.
• Provide financial assistance when needed, such as balancing checkbooks, going to the bank, or helping clients pay bills.
• Offer companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging, and assisting clients.
