Requirements
- Previous experience in direct care or personal care assistance is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work compassionately with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Troy, MI.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings if required.
- Ability to pass background checks as required by company policy.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with medication reminders and health monitoring as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment in clients’ homes.
- Report any changes in clients’ conditions or behaviors to supervisors.
- Document care and services provided in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
