About The Position

Direct Care Staff support people with developmental goals and help them grow, learn, and live well. The role involves building meaningful relationships, encouraging participation in community life and favorite activities, and supporting goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Staff also assist with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. The position offers a schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., plus every other weekend from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pay is $15 per hour.

Requirements

• No experience required.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Help participants take part in the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals, including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist individuals with personal hygiene.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
