About The Position

Sevita is hiring a Direct Care Staff member to support people with developmental goals and help them grow, learn, and live well. The role involves developing meaningful relationships with the individuals served, taking initiative to help them participate in the community and enjoy their favorite activities, and supporting goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Staff also assist with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs.

The part-time schedule is Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The stated pay rate is $19.45 per hour. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
