About The Position

The Price Center is a dynamic and supportive community that empowers adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through its various programs. The Residential Services program operates six homes in Newton, providing individuals with a safe and comfortable environment. The Price Center is currently seeking Weekend Direct Care Professionals for its Residential Program. The role involves providing direct care and skill training to individuals in a residential setting to support their daily living and social skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum of high school degree or GED.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to lift and support body weight of any program individual with the assistance of another employee.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a CLEAN driving record.
  • Willingness to use agency vehicle in the course of employment.
  • Must meet Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check requirement.
  • Must have MAP Certification (Medication Administration training).
  • Must have First Aid Certificate.

Nice To Haves

  • MAP certified hires are eligible for a $2,500 New Hire Bonus after a successful 90-day introductory period.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and skill training to individuals in a residential setting.
