About The Position

The Direct Care Provider works closely with individuals who need extra support to live safely and independently. The role involves assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, supporting participation in hobbies and social activities, documenting daily care and progress, and helping individuals work toward personal goals. The provider also helps maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment.

Shifts are available during the day, evening, overnight, and on weekends. Employees may choose to work as much or as little as they like. Overtime is available but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, medication administration, and light cleaning.
• Encourage participation in hobbies, social activities, and friendships.
• Provide companionship and a supportive presence.
• Keep clear and accurate records of daily care and progress.
• Help individuals reach personal goals, such as learning a new skill or attending a community event.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and respectful environment.
