About The Position

The Direct Service Provider (DSP) works across a wide range of University service areas, including Financial Aid, Registrar, Student Accounts, Residence Life, Admissions, Dining Services, Academic Advising, and Parking Services. The position advocates for students and helps remove barriers to their success by assisting them with business-related University processes. The DSP addresses student concerns and requests, anticipates related issues, and provides coaching to help students take appropriate steps toward resolving problems.

The role responds to in-person, telephone, and email inquiries; processes registrations, drops, withdrawals, transcript requests, and enrollment certifications; evaluates financial aid eligibility and student accounts; makes referrals and provides advising related to military education benefits; and advises students on policies and procedures for financial aid, registration, admissions, and billing/student accounts.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or five years of direct customer service experience in financial aid, registration, student accounts, or other customer service-related fields.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Strong work ethic and a history of exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
