Direct Care Aide (DCA)
About The Position
The Direct Care Aide (DCA) provides compassionate and dignified care to residents, guiding them through activities of daily living. The role builds positive connections with residents and their family members and supports ongoing learning through educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences. The DCA must comply with all rules and regulations regarding the confidentiality and privacy of resident information and perform other duties as assigned. This is a full-time, second-shift position at Regency at Augusta in Fishersville, Virginia, with a listed hourly pay rate of $18.50.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Completion of a 40-hour DCA or PCA training course approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
