About The Position
The Direct Care Aide provides compassionate, dignified care to residents and guides them through activities of daily living. The role builds positive connections with residents and family members and participates in ongoing learning and development. The position is full-time and on the 3rd shift at Regency at Augusta in Fishersville, Virginia, with a listed hourly salary of $18.50.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Completion of a 40-hour DCA or PCA training course approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and dignified care while guiding residents through activities of daily living.
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner to create a positive experience.
- Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
