About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Dining Services Manager in Training to prepare the successful candidate to manage and oversee dining services at a healthcare facility. The paid, structured 16-week program combines hands-on and computer-based training. The role assists with dining operations, including meal preparation, service, quality control, staffing, and supply management, while learning to maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards. The position pays USD $28.00–$32.00 per hour. Residency within the service area is required. This position is not available in Arkansas.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM), Food Service Manager (FSM), Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM), and CDM,CFPP certifications during the development program where required by state regulations.
Valid driver's license.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods.
Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation, service, and quality control.
Learn to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
