About The Position

New Horizon Foods is seeking a Dining Services Director in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The company provides dining services tailored to each location and client, has operated for more than 30 years, and serves locations in more than 10 states. The director will lead and guide the dining team, support food preparation and service, and help meet the department’s goals while providing excellent service to residents and guests.

Requirements

• Extensive culinary experience.
• Prior experience leading a team.
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
• Reliable means of transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Develop menus within provided guidelines.
• Order supplies and maintain inventory.
• Hire and develop team members.
• Assist with meal preparation and serving.
• Ensure food is presented in an attractive and appetizing manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with other management and the client.
