About The Position
Hearthwood Senior Living is recruiting a hospitality-focused Dining Server to join its culinary team. The role provides hands-on serving functions within the community and helps create an inviting dining atmosphere for residents. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Completion of at least sophomore year of high school.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in food service work.
- Experience working with seniors.
- Enthusiasm, compassion, and passion for hospitality and senior engagement.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the community’s standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
- Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards.
- Maintain dining-room appearance and presentation standards.
- Set tables and keep workstations in proper order.
- Take orders and provide service and requested items graciously and courteously.
- Answer questions about menu items.
- Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
