About The Position
Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to oversee dining room operations and help provide memorable guest experiences. The position supervises dining room personnel, including hostesses, cashiers, waitresses, and buspersons. It prepares work schedules, trains new employees, greets guests, maintains the cleanliness of the dining room, keeps records, arranges tables for groups, assists waitresses when needed, helps set up for groups, and handles daily receipts and inventory. The role works in a dining room setting.
Requirements
- High school graduation, or qualifying food service experience substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
- Two years of food service experience in a full-service restaurant, state resort park, hospital, or commercial dining room.
- No special age, licensure, or regulatory requirements are listed.
Responsibilities
- Supervise dining room personnel, including hostesses, cashiers, waitresses, and buspersons.
- Prepare work schedules.
- Train new employees.
- Greet guests upon their arrival to the dining room.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room area.
- Maintain records.
- Arrange tables to accommodate groups.
- Assist waitresses when necessary and set up for groups.
- Handle daily receipts.
