About The Position

Crescent Point of Niantic is seeking a full-time Dining Room Server to join the Benchmark dining team. The role is to foster a clean and welcoming dining environment and provide friendly, personalized service to residents. The server takes and fulfills food and beverage orders, helps residents with meal selections and specific needs, and supports dining-room setup and supply inventory.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and applicable Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
• Ability to serve food and beverages to residents promptly and efficiently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand in one place for extended periods; the position is primarily standing.

Responsibilities

• Take residents’ food and beverage orders and serve meals promptly, ensuring meals are presentable and appetizing.
• Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Assist residents who need help selecting meals or have specific needs.
• Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assist with inventorying supplies.
