About The Position

Crescent Point of Niantic is seeking a Dining Room Server to join the Benchmark dining team. The role is focused on fostering a clean and welcoming dining environment and providing friendly, personalized service to residents. The server takes food and beverage orders, serves meals promptly and attractively, sets up and delivers meal trays and food carts, assists residents with meal selection and specific needs, prepares the dining room for the next meal, and helps inventory supplies. The position requires following written and oral instructions and knowledge of dietary procedures and applicable Health Department food-service regulations and guidelines. It is primarily a standing position, with extended periods of standing in one place, and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Requirements

Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Must have knowledge of dietary procedures and related Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.

Must be able to stand in one place for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Take food and beverage orders from residents and serve meals promptly, ensuring they are presentable and appetizing.
Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
Handle requests from residents who need assistance selecting meals or have specific needs.
Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
Assist with inventorying supplies.
