About The Position

The Dining Room Manager supervises wait staff in preparing the dining room for meals, serving residents and guests, and servicing the dining room after meals. The role supports a made-to-order dining experience featuring seasonal and regional menus, signature dishes, and daily specials. The position has no late nights.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in hospitality, residential, or club dining rooms.

Responsibilities

• Ensure wait staff wear designated uniforms that are clean and pressed.
• Maintain the daily menu board.
• Ensure dining room personnel provide exceptional customer service by seating residents, presenting menus and specials, answering questions, and making suggestions about food and services.
• Ensure tables are promptly and properly bussed, cleared, and reset in a timely and appropriate manner.
