About The Position

The Server works as part of a team serving food to residents and guests in Silver Springs’ fine-dining in-house restaurant. The restaurant offers made-to-order dining with fresh ingredients, fine china, and evolving seasonal and regional menus. The role includes preparing tables, assisting guests with menu choices, relaying orders to the kitchen, serving courses, and maintaining clean and stocked dining areas. The position offers no late nights.

Requirements

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must maintain required food handler certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tables and present menus.
• Answer guests’ questions and make suggestions regarding food and service.
• Remain knowledgeable about posted daily specials.
• Write food orders and relay them to the kitchen.
• Serve courses from the kitchen and service bars.
• Clear and reset counters or tables at the conclusion of each course.
• Help keep dining tables, chairs, floors, linens, and serving stations clean, bussed, and stocked.
• Maintain required food handler certifications.
