About The Position
The Dining Room Busser assists in providing owners and guests with memorable dining experiences. The role supports dining room service by clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers, restocking dining essentials, and keeping tables, chairs, and floors clean. It also involves welcoming guests, anticipating and addressing their needs, interacting professionally with colleagues and guests, contributing to team goals, and following company policies and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
- Able to reach overhead and below the knees and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
- Able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Driver’s license required.
Responsibilities
- Clear and clean tables and deliver tableware, utensils, and drinkware to the dish room for washing.
- Reset tables for the next service.
- Assist servers by refilling water glasses, delivering food to tables, and removing service items.
- Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, and other dining room essentials.
- Move tables and chairs to accommodate guests’ needs and large parties.
- Wipe tables and chairs, and sweep, vacuum, and mop floors.
- Welcome and greet guests, anticipate their needs, and address them.
- Interact professionally and promptly with colleagues and guests.
- Contribute to team goals.
- Follow company policies and safety procedures.
