About The Position

As a Dining Room Associate at Timber-lee, you help make mealtimes welcoming, organized, and enjoyable for campers, guests, and staff. You greet people, help meals run smoothly, and keep the dining room clean and ready for the next group. The role supports Timber-lee’s Christ-centered ministry and includes working with the Food Service and custodial teams in a camp setting.

Requirements

• Ability to follow food safety guidelines and department standards, including the dress code.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, including up and down a flight of stairs and into a 5-foot-high dumpster.
• Personal faith in Jesus Christ and support for Timber-lee’s mission, core values, and Christian lifestyle expectations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome campers and guests, make announcements, and organize meal lines so meals run on time.
• Learn each group’s schedule and needs, and help with seating, meal times, and dining room setup.
• Help prepare and serve meals, snacks, and specialty items with the Food Service team.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and sanitary, including washing pots and pans, cleaning floors and storage areas, and taking out trash.
• Work with the custodial team to maintain indoor and outdoor dining spaces.
• Pitch in wherever the team needs assistance.
