About The Position

The Diner Supervisor leads the diner team to provide exceptional 24-hour service. This leadership role supervises staff, maintains standards for food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction, and manages daily operations, including monitoring expenses and resolving customer issues. The supervisor focuses on customer-facing duties and empowers staff to create a positive and efficient dining experience. The position is at Travelodge and Penny's Diner in Morrill, Nebraska, and pays $18.00 per hour. Required certifications are Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM), ServSafe Alcohol, and ManageFirst Professional (MFP). Applicants must be at least 18, have reliable transportation and a high school diploma or equivalent, and have restaurant supervisor experience. Responsibilities

Supervise and train staff, evaluate performance, and ensure the team consistently delivers excellent customer service and food quality.
Maintain a positive guest experience by ensuring cleanliness, handling complaints and concerns, and fostering a friendly atmosphere.
Oversee daily diner operations, including monitoring expenses, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth service.
Maintain high standards for food presentation, taste, and service, and regularly check restaurant cleanliness and organization.
Write daily budget reports and monitor revenue and costs to help ensure efficient business operations.
