Digital Technology Intern
About The Position
Oshkosh Delivery, an Oshkosh Corporation company, is seeking a Digital Technology Intern to provide support to end users in office and manufacturing environments. The intern will gain exposure to a broad range of software and hardware skills while working with an onsite support team. The position focuses on resolving incidents and completing documented, repeatable tasks. This is a summer internship with the potential to extend year-round. The intern must be willing to commute or relocate to Spartanburg, South Carolina. The schedule is 20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during winter and summer breaks.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree focused on Digital or Information Technology.
- Graduation date on or after May 2027.
- Able to work 20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during winter and summer breaks.
- Completed at least sophomore-year coursework or equivalent.
- Willing to commute or relocate to Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Nice To Haves
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Experience and aptitude with software installations and desktop or laptop hardware.
- Customer service or support experience.
Responsibilities
- Follow documented software installation procedures and hardware configurations.
- Build troubleshooting skills by addressing problematic incidents.
- Gain exposure to the Digital Technology incident and request ticketing system.
- Develop communication skills through daily interaction with end users.
- Contribute to a favorable working climate through a friendly manner and cooperative attitude within the technology team.
- Follow established departmental and other required procedures.
- Assist others as needed to meet deadlines.
- Understand team requirements and the expectations of the end-user population that relies on the support structure.
- Learn to meet timelines while adhering to established standards and service levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
