About The Position

David Yurman is seeking a Digital Design Intern to support its Social Media Design Team. The role is part of the company’s paid, nine-week Summer 2027 Internship Program in New York City, which gives students and emerging professionals hands-on experience in the luxury jewelry industry, along with mentorship, networking events, and industry insights. The internship runs June 7 through August 6, 2027, and is hybrid in New York, NY. The intern reports to the Senior Director Digital & Social Creative. The estimated pay is $25 per hour.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in a related field, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
Comprehensive understanding of social media assets and specifications, including in-feed content and Reels.
Conceptual thinking and hands-on design skills.
Strong knowledge and skills with Adobe Creative Suite, including XD, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Detail-oriented, efficient, organized, self-starting, highly productive, and collaborative approach to work.
Adaptability and ability to maintain effectiveness as work tasks, the work environment, processes, or requirements change.

Nice To Haves

Strong video and animation skills, including After Effects and Premiere.

Responsibilities

Support seasonal social media planning, layouts, and cropping needs.
Assist with designing wholesale e-vites, internal assets, and presentations.
Assist in conceptualizing video and digital still-life and lifestyle photo shoots for a wide range of uses.
Assist in designing and executing Instagram Stories and TikToks.
Communicate actively with cross-functional partners to understand strategy and deliverables and explain the creative thinking behind design decisions.
Stay current on trends in advertising, digital design, and 360 marketing, and draw inspiration from design, art, and culture to bring state-of-the-art innovations to David Yurman.
