About The Position

David Yurman is hiring a Digital Design Intern for its Summer 2027 Internship Program in New York City. This paid, nine-week immersive program is intended for students and emerging professionals interested in the luxury jewelry industry, providing hands-on experience, access to expert teams, mentorship, networking events, and industry insights. The intern will support the Social Media Design Team and collaborate with cross-functional partners on digital and social creative work. The role is hybrid in New York, NY, and runs from June 7 through August 6, 2027.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in a related field.
Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
Comprehensive understanding of social media assets and specifications, including in-feed and Reels.
Conceptual thinking and hands-on design skills.
Superior knowledge and skills with Adobe Creative Suite, including XD, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Detail-oriented, efficient, organized, self-starting, highly productive, and collaborative approach to work.
Adaptability and ability to remain effective as work tasks, environments, processes, or requirements change.

Nice To Haves

Video and animation skills, including After Effects and Premiere.

Responsibilities

Support seasonal social media planning, layouts, and cropping needs.
Assist with the design of wholesale e-vites, internal assets, and presentations.
Assist in conceptualizing video and digital still-life and lifestyle photo shoots for a wide range of uses.
Assist in the design and execution of Instagram Stories and TikToks.
Communicate with cross-functional partners to understand strategy and deliverables and explain the creative thinking behind design decisions.
Stay current on trends in advertising, digital design, 360 marketing, design, art, and culture, and bring relevant innovations to David Yurman.
