About The Position

WSAZ-TV is seeking a full-time Digital Sales Assistant to support the Digital Sales Manager and Account Executives and contribute to the digital sales process. The role coordinates digital orders and creative requests, enters orders, supports digital graphics creation and traffic assignment, monitors advertising campaigns, conducts research, and prepares reports. The successful candidate is organized, communicative, technologically savvy, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The position also assists or backs up the station Copy Coordinator and coordinates station programming schedules and formats with Corporate Programming, HUB Traffic, Nielsen, Comscore, and station Sales, News, and Master Control operations.

• Minimum four-year college degree required.

Nice To Haves

• Marketing, communication, or business degree preferred.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and design software is a plus.
• Experience with social media, paid digital ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics, or similar tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter digital orders accurately.
• Request, update, and monitor digital creative scheduling for campaigns, meeting deadlines.
• Fulfill and monitor digital campaigns and provide appropriate follow-up.
• Organize and deliver campaign reports by deadlines.
• Research clients, industries, digital trends and strategies, and other categories as needed.
• Provide support and follow-up for the sales department.
• Assist or back up the station Copy Coordinator.
• Coordinate station programming schedules and formats with Corporate Programming, HUB Traffic, Nielsen, Comscore, and station Sales, News, and Master Control operations.
