About The Position

Vermeer is seeking a curious, collaborative advocate with a passion for digital products to solve customer problems and drive business outcomes. The Digital Product Owner creates and maintains a vision for digital products and provides iterative value to the organization through software delivery methods. The role works with stakeholders and customers to identify business problems, establish minimally viable products that deliver rapid value, and demonstrate how software solutions meet strategic outcomes and support adoption. The position is hybrid, with occasional travel expected.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or another related field, with one year of relevant experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of refinement and product vision related to ROI using software development lifecycles, including agile, lean, and waterfall.
• Ability to work in a highly technical, cross-functional, and cross-cultural team environment, with a strong orientation toward results.

• One year of relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and prioritize a product backlog.
• Establish the characteristics that define a minimally viable product that delivers rapid value to the organization.
• Lead continuous discovery activities with key stakeholders and customers to identify business problems and contribute to data value.
• Demonstrate how software solutions meet strategic outcomes and support product adoption.
• Develop, track, and document metrics for market share, return on investment (ROI), customer satisfaction, and user adoption.
